Karl Schumacher Dental launches new instruments and products
Karl Schumacher Dental, LLC, the award-winning dental instruments and product company, marks the 70th anniversary of its founding with the premiere of a series of premium remanufactured PrecísPoint ™ sutures and ExcaliBur ™ advanced dental brushes.
Jon Watsabaugh, Managing Director, said: "After years of satisfaction with Karl Schumacher's instruments and services, top dentists have demanded more products to complement their hands-on tools." We are proud to add a comprehensive range of products and instruments Series to complement our existing instrumentation products. "
The new line of regenerative products includes allografts, xenografts, synthetic, collagen membranes and dental dressings. It has been reported that allograft granules, putties and pastes contain 100% human demineralized bone matrix and BMP-2 and do not contain the additive excipients required for other products to improve handling. Karl Schumacher provides xenograft-derived bone graft matrices and synthetic calcium phosphate bone graft matrices. Xenograft microparticles are osteoconductive, porous, inorganic bone minerals with a carbonate apatite structure derived from porcine cancellous bone. Composite adhesives are synthetic mineral-collagen composite bone graft substrates for bone repair during oral surgery.
Karl Schumacher collagen membranes are considered ideal for guiding bone regeneration, preservation of alveolar fossa, alveolar ridge reconstruction, and placement of immediate or delayed tooth extraction around the implant. Foams, plugs and tape dressings are designed to work in wet conditions, control bleeding and protect the wound from further injury when a wound dressing is needed in dental surgery.
Using the ideal alloy to create a superior suture needle, the 300 Series Stainless Steel PrecísPoint's unique laser drilling needle is designed to reduce tissue rupture. It has been reported that silicone-coated needles ensure that the tissue is smoother and has a finer point geometry, and the needles remain sharp after multi-needle aspiration. The diameter of the needle is designed to adjust to the size of the connected suture material for a smooth transition from the needle to the suture.
ExcaliBur drill bits reduce heat, reduce vibration and provide maximum cutting efficiency. Each drill is manufactured using the most up-to-date Swiss-made 5-axis milling machine with precise details. The strength of the dental equipment used combined with a one-piece construction eliminates the stress on the drill pipe and reduces the risk of breakage and is 2.5 times faster than the previous mill.
